ByteDance, renowned for its software, news, and social media platforms including TikTok, also developed Tik Tok Music, a social music streaming app. This innovation is reflected in the design of the Xiamen Headquarters Campus.

The campus embodies ByteDance's belief in community, inclusivity, and joy. Inspired by Tik Tok Music, the "dancing boxes" theme creates a vibrant music community with Music Wave Boulevard, Music Wave Valley, stages, plazas, live houses, and music-themed restaurants.

Coastal gardens with native plants evoke Xiamen's identity as China's Sea Garden, offering spaces for dining, relaxation, events, and entertainment. The valley pulsates with energy from interactions between creative professionals, hotel guests, and visitors, all immersed in music and performance. The design philosophy emphasizes accessible environments that foster diverse participation, reflecting ByteDance's commitment to human connection and creativity.
